Day to day itinerary
While the itinerary is based on suggested accommodation, every journey is fully tailor-made, with our specialists ready to adapt options to your preferences and budget.
Private airport transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours.
Morning at the National Museum, followed by Sunda Kelapa's working harbor where traditional phinisi schooners still load and unload cargo. Afternoon through the colonial streets of Kota Tua and Fatahillah Square. The day ends in Chinatown — street food, old shophouses, and a neighborhood that runs on its own clock.
A full-day trip through hill country to Gunung Padang — Southeast Asia's largest megalithic site. Ancient stone terraces climb the hillside in layers, with volcanic peaks framing the view. The site's age and origins remain one of archaeology's open debates.
Executive-class train through the Javanese heartland. Arrive in Yogyakarta by afternoon. Check in and explore the neighborhood at your own pace.
Early departure for Borobudur at sunrise — 2,500 carved relief panels and 72 stupas on the world's largest Buddhist monument, best seen before the heat and crowds set in. The afternoon shifts pace with a vintage VW tour through villages where batik, wayang leather puppets, and silver work are still made traditionally.
The Kraton — Yogyakarta's royal palace and a still-functioning centre of Javanese court culture. Then Taman Sari, an 18th-century royal retreat of pools, tunnels, and hidden gardens. The day closes in Kota Gede, the city's oldest district, known for its silver workshops and quiet, moss-covered lanes.
Check out from the hotel and drive to Yogyakarta Airport (YIA). Take the flight to Denpasar, Bali (DPS). Arrival at DPS, meet the representative, and transfer directly to Gianyar Night Market, locally known as “Pasar Senggol Gianyar.” Guests can explore the market and sample local foods.
Begin at the Sacred Monkey Forest of Sangeh, home to playful monkeys among towering trees. Continue to Gunung Kawi Temple with its ancient carved shrines, then visit Tirta Empul in Tampaksiring, a holy spring temple known for its sacred, rejuvenating waters.
Leisure day in Ubud, Bali's cultural heart. Time is open for relaxation, exploring the majestic palace, visiting art museums or yoga studios, and sampling local cuisine and handicrafts.
A morning in Nyambu Village, where daily life in a traditional Balinese community unfolds around farming, craft, and ceremony. From there, the road climbs to Jatiluwih — a UNESCO-listed rice terrace landscape shaped by the subak irrigation system, an eight-century-old cooperative tradition that still governs how water moves through these hills.
The Bukit Peninsula's limestone cliffs drop straight into the Indian Ocean. Garuda Wisnu Kencana offers scale and context before the drive to Uluwatu Temple. The Kecak fire dance at sunset, performed on the cliff edge with the ocean below, is one of the more memorable things this island offers.
No itinerary. Time to revisit, explore Sanur beach independently, or rest before departure.
Last day in Indonesia. Transfer to Ngurah Rai International Airport, whether it be at home or another part of your trip. You will never forget your magical experience of Indonesia!
